To-do or Not to-do?

Something on your "to-do list" that never gets done.

Do you have something on your “to-do list” that keeps moving to the bottom of the list? Then as the day goes by, you find it remains at the bottom of your list. Why?

Things remain on our lists if we are not looking forward to tackling the task. Sometimes it is a difficult conversation, and most of the time, it is the anxiety of the list itself.

Making a to-do list is excellent for prioritizing things you need to accomplish. However, not always the best approach to your day.

  • Schedule your day with priorities
  • Stay focused on your mission and vision
  • Complete all that you can
  • Know you make a difference each day
  • Avoid distractions
  • Apply the 1-3-5 rule is a productivity strategy that forces you to be productive by taking periodic breaks from your work. It's based on a simple three-step formula: pick one major task to accomplish, divide it into three medium tasks, and then divide those three medium tasks into five small tasks

Apply a strategy that will work for you to organize a day that will work best for you in reaching your goals. Setting goals with action items and deadlines works better than to-do lists. However, do what is the best for you.
