You can't fill in the blank text framed by green leaves

In 2010, I was faced with the devastating words, "you can't." It's a crushing blow to be told that you're unable to do something you've been doing, especially when it's your passion and the very thing that brings you joy. The feeling of being lost engulfs you in such moments. To make matters worse, attending therapy sessions day after day without any progress can be disheartening. And to repeatedly hear those demoralizing words, "you can't," becomes unbearable.

I vividly remember one therapy session where my therapist assigned me a task. She said it was something I would be doing at work, and she wanted to time me to evaluate my ability to return to my job. The timer started, and I began the activity. But frustration soon overwhelmed me, and before I knew it, I swept all the papers off the table in a fit of anger. I stood up abruptly, declaring that I was done, and stormed out of the room, grabbing my purse on the way.

After that incident, I never went back to those therapy sessions. Instead, I sought out my family doctor and obtained a note allowing me to return to work. I found a new doctor who understood my situation, and that was the end of people telling me "you can't." With the unwavering support of my family both at home and at school, I went back to work and gave it my all. Together, we faced the challenges and triumphed. And here I am today, having overcome even more than that difficult scenario.

When there is a burning desire in your heart and a passion that drives you, you can achieve great things. I want to share with you two videos that encapsulate this spirit. The first video showcases an entire group of people coming together to support one child in pursuing something that most would say is impossible. It's a testament to the power of collective belief and determination. The second video demonstrates how our choices can inspire others to make positive changes in their own lives. It emphasizes the philosophy of Two Rules: the power of choice. Today, we must reflect on the choices we are making and how they can serve as examples for others to follow, paving the way for a better tomorrow.

Let us strive to be beacons of inspiration, showing others that despite what they may hear or what obstacles they may face, they have the ability to overcome and achieve greatness. Together, through our choices and actions, we can create a brighter and more promising future, starting today.
